Brazilian star Neymar is leading the goalscoring chart in the French Ligue 1 this season after netting five times in three games. Neymar and PSG have been dominant in the French top flight this season and they are on the right path in the quest to retain their league title. PSG had won the French Ligue 1 title last season after finishing ahead of the likes of Marseille, Monaco and OGC Nice convincingly.

Neymar has scored seven goals for PSG in all competitions including five goals in the league. The former Barcelona and Santos attacker scored twice for PSG in the 4-0 win over 10-man Nantes as the French champions started the season with a trophy via the French Super Cup. The 2022 French Super Cup was contested by the winner of the French Ligue 1 (PSG) and the winner of the French Cup (Nantes)
