United Has Slow Transfer Season
Compared to other clubs in the Premier League, Manchester United has not experienced a very busy transfer window but they have however added 1 new player to the squad as Vanja Milinkovic will be making his way to Old Trafford from FK Vojvodina. Milinkovic is a young and promising shot-stopper hailing from Serbia.
Milinkovic is going to remain performing at his current club FK Vojvodina on loan until the end of the season before making his official move to the Premier League club.
The President of Vojvodina Zoran Scepanovic revealed details concerning the transfer as he said: “After lengthy talks that have taken place over the past month, we have finally completed negotiations on Monday and we can officially inform the public that our young and promising goalkeeper has joined Manchester United. He will remain in Vojvodina for the next year, where he will be under the supervision of our experts and coaches from the English football giants, while continuing to train and perform in the jersey of his home club. This is an opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the realization of this transfer. Can I point out Manchester United’s very correct attitude.”
The 17 year old goalkeeper is expected to give David de Gea a run for his money in the next few years as they both will be competing to secure the goalkeeping position of Old Trafford after Milinko fully develops and gains more experience playing at a stage which has some of the most recognized players from around the globe.
David de Gea is the undoubted goalkeeper for Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford as the Spanish shot-stopper has made a name for himself following a number of consistent and superb performances. At his 17 years of age Milinkovic is already being hailed to be one of the most promising players from Serbia.
