PSG officials are prepared to sell Brazilian star Neymar this summer according to French journalist RomainMolina. According to him, PSG owners are ready to sell Neymar after getting fed up of his issues and injury problems. Molina gave an update on Neymar on his Twitter account as he said that the Brazilian has not lived up to his price tag at the club since his transfer from Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona in 2017.

Neymar left Barcelona to sign for PSG in a world-record deal and no transfer has come close to it in terms of the fee paid for the player. At the time of the transfer five years ago, PSG secured his signature after they activatedthe release clause in his Barcelona contract.

PSG fans showed their displeasure towards Neymar and Lionel Messi after the Champions League last 16 exit at the hands of Real Madrid. The boos continued for Neymar until the recent league game at home to Lens which ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw despite playing a big part of the game with ten men. The draw was enough to clinch a record tenth league title in the French top flight.

Lille beat PSG to the French top flight league title last season and PSG were able to reclaim the league title at the first time of asking.

PSG spent a lot of money in terms of salaries and sign on fees to sign quality players such as Sergio Ramos, GianlugiDonnaruma, Lionel Messi and GeorginioWijnaldum. They signed the aforementioned players on free transfer deals in the hope that the signings will propel PSG into winning the Champions League title for the first time. PSG didn't even make it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League after they were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Real Madrid.
