NO OFFERS FOR ROONEY

The player is poised to leave Old Trafford to regain play time and relevance as his career winds down. Jose Mourinho would likely keep him on as a substitute star but even the Portuguese tactician faces a dilemma as the player is eating deep the finance of the club without playing regularly.

The consolation for the former Chelsea coach is that Rooney is offering some off the field assistance by way of moral support and his experienced in the team.
This same situation ensured last year but Rooney found himself in France for Euro 2016 with the Three Lions. After a disappointing show Rooney lost his starting shirt at United. Injury spells just worsened the whole situation.

Spurs’ forward Harry Kane has been named the new captain of England national team while Rooney remains on the sidelines. Many believed that there were would be offers for the player but the truth is that no club is seeking to employ the 31-year old, based on recent evidences.

The Daily Mail confirms that Rooney would continue watching from the bench as his contract with United enters its final year and no offer is there to consider. With the players linked with Mourinho, Rooney’s chances of first team football grow slimmer.
