Premier League heavyweights Chelsea are the favourites to sign Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar this summer according to the latest reports in the media. Neymar has been seriously linked with a move away from PSG after a poor season which saw him get loudly booed by his own fans in the first home game after the Champions League exit suffered at the hands of eventual champions Real Madrid.

A summer shakeup is expected at PSG and Neymar could be affected. TheFrench champions are closing in on the appointment of Christopher Galtier and he will replace Mauricio Pochettino in the dugout.

The arrival of Galtier from fellow French team OGC Nice is expected to initiate the shakeup at PSG this summer. It has been reported that Galtier don't want Neymar at PSG when he takes charge of the team. To this effect, the Brazilian national team talisman has been linked with a lot of clubs including Chelsea. Apart from Chelsea, Catalan giants Barcelona, Premier League outfit Newcastle United and Italian team Juventus have also been linked with the ex-Santos and Barcelona forward.

On the future of Neymar at PSG, Sky Sports News reporter KavehSolhekol said the Brazilian star wants to stay with the French champions and that his target is to win the Champions League trophy at the club. Neymar has won the Champions League once in his career outside the Brazilian league and he wants to stay in Paris to win his second Champions League trophy in the colours of the French champions. He became a Champions League winner during his time at Spanish La Ligaclub Barcelona.
Popular media outlet GOAL revealed that PSG officials are worried with Neymar’s poor form and attitude. To this effect, they are looking to move him on. PSG paid €220m to sign him from Barcelona in 2017 and he signed a new deal at the club as recent as last year.
